Tonnage of off-road forklift

Rough terrain forklifts come in various tonnage specifications, and the common ones are as follows:

1 - 3 tons: These are small rough terrain forklifts, characterized by their compact size and flexibility. They are suitable for places with relatively narrow spaces and light cargo weights, such as material handling in small warehouses and workshops. For example, in some light processing workshops, a 1.5 - ton rough terrain forklift can easily carry small components and raw materials.

3 - 5 tons: This is a common tonnage class. Medium rough terrain forklifts have strong adaptability and can be used for general cargo loading/unloading, stacking, and short - distance transportation. For instance, on construction sites, 3 - 5 - ton rough terrain forklifts can transport building materials and load/unload small equipment.

5 - 10 tons: These belong to larger rough terrain forklifts, featuring strong lifting capacity and off - road performance. They can handle more complex terrains and heavier cargoes, and are often used in environments such as mines and ports. In mines, they can transport ore, and in ports, they can assist in loading/unloading heavy objects like containers.

Over 10 tons: These are heavy - duty rough terrain forklifts, generally used for handling overweight cargo in large industrial sites or special engineering projects, such as large steel plants and logistics centers. However, such heavy - duty rough terrain forklifts are relatively rare.

Rough terrain forklifts of different tonnages also vary in size, power, price, etc. Users can choose the appropriate tonnage based on their actual usage needs and working environments.
