Application areas and maintenance of mixer trucks

Application Fields of Concrete Mixer Trucks

Concrete Mixer Trucks

  • Construction Projects: In the construction of large-scale buildings such as residential houses, office buildings, and commercial complexes, mixer trucks ensure the timely supply and stable quality of concrete, serving as indispensable equipment in the construction process.
  • Road Engineering: Used for building urban roads, highways, rural roads, etc., it can transport mixed concrete to the construction site, ensuring the smooth progress of road paving.
  • Bridge Construction: Provides high-quality concrete for bridge piers, bridge decks, and other parts, playing a key role in the structural strength and stability of bridges.
  • Water Conservancy Projects: For the construction of water conservancy facilities such as dams, canals, and sluices, which require a large amount of concrete, mixer trucks can efficiently transport and mix concrete to meet project needs.

Maintenance and Care of Concrete Mixer Trucks

  • Cleaning Aspects
    • Rinse the feeding port with water before each loading to keep it moist during loading.
    • After loading, rinse the feeding port to remove residual concrete around it.
    • After discharging at the construction site, rinse the discharging chute, then add 30-40L of cleaning water into the concrete tank, and keep the tank rotating forward at a low speed during the return trip.
    • Thoroughly clean the concrete tank and the areas around the feeding and discharging ports at the end of each workday to ensure no cement or concrete clumps adhere.
  • Maintenance Key Points
    • Reasonably determine the maintenance cycle, referring to the maintenance cycle recommended by the vehicle manufacturer and adjusting it according to the vehicle's technical condition and usage conditions.
    • Make full use of the free inspection activities carried out by concrete mixer truck manufacturers to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle, promptly identify and eliminate potential faults.
    • Minimize the disassembly and repair of assemblies, adopt advanced technical maintenance equipment and methods for non-dismantling maintenance of the vehicle, improve maintenance quality, and reduce total maintenance costs.
