(1) Starting and Setting off

Starting the Vehicle: Insert the key into the ignition switch, turn on the power, check whether the indicator lights on the dashboard are displayed normally. After confirming there is no fault alarm, start the engine. After starting, let the engine idle for 3 - 5 minutes to fully lubricate all components, and at the same time, observe whether the engine runs smoothly and whether there are any abnormal noises or vibrations.
Preparing for Setting off: Adjust the seat position and rear - view mirrors to ensure a good operating view. Fasten the seat belt, lower the forks to a height of 20 - 30 centimeters from the ground, and confirm that there are no people or obstacles around. Depress the clutch pedal, shift into an appropriate gear (usually start in first gear). After sounding the horn to signal, slowly release the clutch pedal while gently stepping on the accelerator to start smoothly.

(2) Driving Operations

Speed Control: Reasonably control the driving speed according to the road conditions and operation requirements of the work site. On flat and wide roads, the driving speed shall not exceed 15 kilometers per hour; in narrow areas, curves, slopes, or areas with dense personnel, slow down, and control the speed within 5 kilometers per hour. It is strictly prohibited to drive at excessive speeds to avoid vehicle out - of - control or collision accidents caused by too high a speed.
Steering Operations: Slow down in advance before turning, turn on the turn signal, observe the rear - view mirrors and the surrounding environment. Carry out the steering operation only after confirming safety. When turning, pay attention to the inner - wheel difference to avoid the forks scratching obstacles or pedestrians. On sharp curves or slippery roads, reduce the speed and turn the steering wheel slowly to prevent the vehicle from skidding.
Driving on Slopes: When going uphill, shift into a low gear in advance, maintain sufficient vehicle power, and drive at a constant speed to avoid shifting gears or stopping halfway. When going downhill, it is strictly prohibited to coast in neutral. Use the engine's drag force to control the speed, and if necessary, combine it with foot braking. When parking on a slope, pull up the parking brake, shift into a low gear, and place triangular wooden blocks or stones under the wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling back.
Reversing Operations: Before reversing, first observe the environment behind and on both sides of the vehicle to confirm that there are no obstacles or people. If necessary, get out of the vehicle to check or arrange a special person to guide the reversing. When reversing, drive slowly, and at the same time, observe the rear situation through the rear - view mirrors and reversing images, and be ready to stop at any time. During the reversing process, continuously sound the horn to warn and remind surrounding personnel to pay attention.
